Community Outreach

Amyx is a company which believes in giving back to our local communities.  One of our corporate quality objectives is to advance the well-being of the communities in which we work and live through contributions of time, financial, and mentoring support. We encourage all of our employees to participate in not only corporate sponsored functions but in their individual contributions to their communities as well.

 

Just some of our Amyx Community Outreach Program initiatives:

  • Backpacks for Kids working with local programs to build backpacks with needed school supplies
  • March of Dimes Metro East Bikers for Babies campaign helping to raise over $40,000
  • Thanksgiving outreach to local charities, shelters and VFW posts providing turkeys and hams for meals
  • Adopt-A-Family and Gift of Giving programs for the holidays
  • Good Neighbors Foundation building care boxes for servicemen and women stationed overseas  
  • Wounded Warriors Thank-You cards initiative
  • Habitat for Humanity helping to build a house
  • Local shelters and food kitchens with food and serving meals
  • AND more

 

Amyx employees are also active in both professional and community activities. Our employees are members of groups like NDIA, Professional Services Council, SECAF, TiE-DC, NCMS, PMI, and AFCEA.

 

Besides their many memberships in relevant industry organizations, our employees serve important roles in their communities as coaches, Scout leaders, mentors and volunteering in local shelters and other outreach programs.
