Acquisition strategy support to the Joint Experimentation Directorate’s senior technical managers and requirements officials regarding: - Cross-functional analysis for acquisition methodologies - Development of acquisition plans and requirements development/analysis to support source selection planning - Development/presentation of long-term acquisition strategies - Must possess great facility with task order management - Capable of properly documenting the acquisition strategies throughout the development process of major acquisition plans; including but not limited to the Management Oversight Process for acquisition of services - Must be able to lead the development of performance-based work statements and conduct performance requirement summaries, quality assurance surveillance plans matched to requirements approved by the government. - Assist and support the development of the components of acquisition packages, including contract data requirements and independent government cost estimations - Represent the government in designated meetings and participate in technical interchanges and exchanges - Conduct information briefings with decision makers and senior JFCOM executives and provide meeting minutes, actions, facilitation, and technical advisory services - Serve as a member of market research team, conduct market research, and will estimate procurement cycle timing - Recommend best contract types for government use This position is designed as the primary acquisition consultant for all phases/steps of the acquisition process (FAR/5000 series) to improvement of contracting policies and processes. In addition this position will monitor a small team (3) to monitor/track deliverables and invoices to ensure proper execution, conducting of industry working groups on behalf of the government and will help/support necessary contract changes/modifications and provide technical presentations related to the acquisitions.
