1. Create and test backups, verify or assist in verifying data integrity.
2. Provide database support in a government operating environment.
3. Define and/or implement access controls to data.
4. Support and ensure maximum system performance.
5. Install and configure new software.
6. Provide data analysis, evaluate database design.
7. Model and optimize government data.
8. Assist users with database efficiencies.
9. Have some knowledge of imagery intelligence domain, a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline preferred
10 years experience in Oracle and SQL Database Administration
Oracle RAC and GRID experience

Computer Skills:
MS Windows, MS Office
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
Citrix Desktop
VPN Dialup Management
