Position Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as the Contractor’s expert responsible for technical leadership, direction, strategic and tactical planning, and oversight in the management and administration of the task orders issued by FAA customers. Responsible for ensuring work requested under the task order is performed properly to the complete satisfaction of the customer. Responsible for technical performance of all WBS area products and services and for ensuring cost, schedule and programmatic objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints. In addition to managing the task order, the manager must establish policies, procedures and goals for the successful completion of work within the task order and ensure that such policies and procedures are effectively carried out. Requires frequent interface with FAA personnel, other contractor personnel, FAA technical points of contacts, and other FAA customer representatives. Requires a sound working knowledge of the FAA Acquisition Management System as well as commercial acquisition practices. Other responsibilities include staffing, personnel management, review and approval of technical products, and expenditures, and direct support of the customer as required. |

• Masters Degree in an applicable field of study and ten (10) or more years of relevant experience OR the individual must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field of study and fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience. • PMP certification is a plus. CAPM also considered with appropriate project management experience. • Must be able to successfully pass a background check. • Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) required. • Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem solving/analytical skills. • Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to reprioritization as dictated by business need. • Must have excellent verbal and written communications, able to develop reports and communicate findings. • Needs demonstrated ability to work independently under specified objectives, and meet deadlines. • Demonstrated knowledge of program/project management tools and procedures. • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze project requirements and scheduling needs for managing large projects. • Proven experience with process flow evaluation and analysis. • Demonstrated ability to follow Program and Project Management standards established by customer Project Management Office (PMO). • Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data. • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders with evidence of willingness and ability to express and protect departmental interests. • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and/or independently. • Maintain a current awareness of ethical and regulatory requirements. • Proven ability to coordinate and track multiple processes in various stages of production; and/or multiple projects simultaneously and successfully. • Ability to write reports, specifications, requirements and process flows. • Exceptional customer service focus and experience is required. • Good human relations and leadership skills to train, guide, motivate and mentor the work of project personnel. • Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical. • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. • Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks. • Generate various reports/deliverables including monthly program status reports to the appropriate customers and management personnel. • Develop, implement, and analyze recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities. • Recommend and/or lead new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery. • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
