Job Description:

The project focuses on the development and delivery of the data, infrastructure, and applications components of the enterprise architecture to include the enterprise architecture itself. It also outlines the requirements for the development and maintenance of DoD Architecture Framework products in supports of various on-going and new programs.

The Architect Compliance Analyst is a support position on the project and will work directly with Enterprise Architect and the other key positions (e.g., data architect, systems architect, etc.) to define and execute EA processes including but not limited to EA compliance processes.  The goal is to make EA practical and beneficial to DLA and its modernization programs while meeting the Federal and DoD requirements for EA. 

The following major activities are involved:

-          Oversee and assist all client programs with meeting compliance requirements for Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and escalate issues to client management.

-          Track Investment Review Board (IRB) schedule and ensure programs are completing required compliance artifacts.

-          Track Enterprise Transition Plan (ETP) schedule and ensure programs are completing required ETP inputs.

-          Provide quality reviews of architecture products and compliance assertions and provide feedback to program managers.

-          Provide general support to Senior Enterprise Architects on the development of EA processes

Preferred Skills:

     Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

-          5 to 7 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience facilitating and conducting compliance verification activities, ideally for enterprise architecture, portfolio investment decisions, or system audits.

-          Experienced with managing and tracking compliance requirements, traceability, and status.

-          Experienced with analyzing process and system documentation to determine compliance with established requirements.

-          Ability to use of office productivity tools, e.g., MS Office, MS Project, and quickly learn support applications for tracking compliance and providing status.

-          Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in order to effectively work with program managers and functional personnel.

-          Knowledge of the DOD Business Enterprise Architecture and Compliance requirements.
