Amyx Welcomes Mr. Jeff McCrindle as VP of Business Development

Alexandria, VA - October 31, 2011 – Amyx is pleased to welcome Jeff McCrindle as our new Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. McCrindle has over 30 years of experience in business development, management, sales, and marketing serving national intelligence agencies, Veterans Administration (VA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Energy (DOE), and the National Air and Space Administration (NASA) clients. Jeff’s also has experience supporting commercial markets including telecom, healthcare, human capital, finance, insurance, energy and pharmaceutical markets. For the past year, Jeff served as Capture/Proposal Manager at QinetiQ North America where he was the Capture/Proposal Manager for IARPA, DHS, HHS, DOE, NASA, and International Revenue Service (IRS) opportunity pursuits.  He previously held management positions at Education Management Solutions, CHI Systems, Mercury Computer Systems, Rational Software, AT&T, and GE Aerospace.

Jeff has a BS in Mathematics and MBA degrees from Saint Joseph’s University and completed executive seminars at Harvard Law School and the Wharton School of Business. He currently is a member  of the Board of Advisors for the Masters of Science in Business Intelligence program at Saint Joseph’s University.

Amyx Teams with Avaya Government Solutions on Successful GSA Connections II Contract Award

Alexandria, VA – October, 26, 2011 - Amyx is proud to be a member of the Avaya Government Solutions team on the GSA Connections II team. Connections II is GSA’s telecommunication centric, multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. This contract has a $5 billion ceiling and supports both Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material contract types. The contract’s period of performance allows users to compete and award task orders for up to 10 years.

Amyx wins 2-year United States Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration contract.

 September 2011 – Amyx, Inc. announced its two year award (1 base, 1 option) for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Information Technology (IT) Modernization Data Management Strategy contract. This contract was awarded under the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract.  FMCSA’s Office of Research and Information Technology (MC-R) is implementing a strategy for IT modernization which includes the application of a data management strategy. Amyx will support FMCSA in the development of data and technology focused plans to capture the next generation of systems. These plans will best support all programs and activities and accelerate the impact of safety programs.

 September 2011 – Amyx, Inc. has been awarded a five year (one base, four option years) contract with the Small Business Administration (SBA). On this contract, Amyx and Program Project Management Services International (PPMS) will provide Information Technology (IT) Project Management (PM) Services and Support for the Office of Disaster Assistance (ODA) Disaster Credit Management System (DCMS). Team Amyx’s experience in performing Quality Assurance (QA), Scheduling, Configuration Management (CM), Communications and Training in addition to Project Management (PM) Services ensures the team’s full capability to support the management of SBA’s critical program.

America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies—the Inc.500|5000

Amyx, Inc. makes the list for the 3rd consecutive year

NEW YORK, August 23, 2011 -- Inc. magazine released the 2011 Inc. 5000 list and for the third consecutive year Amyx, Inc. has been named to the list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.  Based upon our 2011 revenue to date, we expect to make it again the next time the list is compiled.  The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. As an Inc. 5000 honoree, Amyx  joins Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, Dunkin Donuts and Metrokane, makers of the Rabbit corkscrew, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list. 

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. The 2011 Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million.
