In recognition of the economic power of privately held businesses, DiversityBusiness.com, the nations’ leading business-to-business internet site, recently named Amyx, Inc. as one of the Top 500 Small Businesses in the United States, as well as one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is our 3^rd year of appearing on both of these lists.

Amyx wins one of multiple Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) worth up to $2 billion to provide Business, Engineering and Computer Information Systems Development and Systems Support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

November 13, 2009 – Amyx, Inc. announced it has received one of the multiple awards for the FAA’s eFAST Master Ordering Agreement (MOA) which has a five-year base period with two one-year option periods. Under the terms of the MOA, Amyx will provide services supporting the FAA in the following functional areas:

Scott Amey Inducted into the George Washington University School of Engineering Hall of Fame

On October 29, 2009, at the 125th anniversary of the George Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, Scott Amey, Amyx's President and CEO, was inducted into the School's Hall of Fame. Mr. Amey is one of only 25 individuals who have been voted into this elite group.

Amyx CEO Participates in the October PMI Global Speaker Webinar

On October 29, 2009, Scott Amey, President and CEO of Amyx, gave two one-hour presentations as part of the Program Management Institute's (PMI) Global Speaker Program. Mr. Amey's presentation, "Building Successful Businesses Using Good Management Practices" was enjoyed by over 400 attendees throughout the world.
