The United States Marine Corps Logistics Command has awarded to Amyx, in partnership with its subcontractor 2is, a $195,000 contract to develop and validate technical data packages for new items of supply. Amyx will define for the Department of Defense the product data specifications for supplies consumed by the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps.

Scott Amey, Amyx's President and CEO, stated "This project sets the stage for us to expand these technical data development services for the Military Services. Although this first award is a pilot of only 1600 items, we know that there or hundreds of thousands more items for which technical data will be required. And as an added bonus, most of this type of work is accomplished with the Defense Logistics Agency and the Defense Logistics Information Service as the central players, two customers that trust and rely upon Amyx to deliver only the very best."
